Meet Abbie! 🙋🏼♀️
Abbie has been a Personal Trainer for 5 years and part of the Next Level Fitness team in Rotherham for just over 3 months now!
Here’s her story:
I’ve always has a passion for sport from an early age, especially in football and boxing as I grew up.
Originally I left school planning to be a teacher however at university part of my degree focussed on gym based exercise and it was that I enjoyed the most. I enjoyed it that much I knew that’s what my career had to be.
Along the way I tore my ACL (knee ligament) which put me out of training for a long time. I had to start from the ground up to get my knee back to where it needed to be. That set back allows me to relate to other’s struggles.
The things I love about training are; it keeps me feeling healthy, there’s always new things to do and learn, and it keeps me in a routine. Most recently I’ve had a go at Crossfit.
The feeling of achievement when you finish a tough workout is the biggest hook. When it comes to the clients I work with, seeing how amazing they feel as they reach a milestone in their journey gets me buzzing for them!
I love to work with people who want to lose weight and get fit. People who are motivated and want to push themselves every session. They want their goals and I want to get them there. It’s the reason I get up in the morning!
